Halloween, All Hallows, All Souls

I am here, Daniel Samuels, your brother and friend in God’s love. I wish to speak of things that not only relate to this coming week and gathering, but hopefully to a broader audience. I am known somewhat as being a dear friend of James Padgett, which I indeed was, and also a celestial medium and Jewish historian.
Much of what I received related to correcting, or at least explaining things that are in what is called the Old Testament, but my passion beyond that was to receive messages from Jesus about amalgamating the Jewish festivals of old, when appropriate, with the Christian holy days, and so I did write extensively on that, which I received.
Of course, I am a divine love follower of the master and, in that sense, a true Christian, and so I should like to, along the lines of bringing holy back, holy days; you know the word “holiday” comes from holy days. The words “All Hallows” or “all holy” became what was known as All Saints’ Day. This goes back to the 8th Century in Ireland, where Catholics wished to have a day of gratitude to all the angels and to martyrs and celebrate that day. But this celebration is actually 3 days, beginning with All Hallows Eve, which is the root of the word Halloween, and that was in preparation for All Saints Day and often associated with protecting one from dark spirits, offering gifts to them, sometimes left on the doorstep. And eventually, people dressed up as various spirits so that if there were spirits of ill intent around, they would not see them as otherwise different from themselves, simply as spirits. And of course, as you may know, over the centuries, this has become a celebration of children receiving gifts for dressing up however they would like, and it is a wonderful communal celebration, but often, the next day, All Saints’ Day is not celebrated widely.
And do you know that the day after, which for you is the 2nd of November, is All Souls’ Day, and that day was a day to remember all those loved ones who have passed into spirit and to pray for them and their progression in God’s love.
So I speak to the Divine Love community as a whole and beyond in my wish that you will be mindful of the true meaning of the days around Halloween and to celebrate with your souls, with your prayers, and bring the Holy back to these holidays.
I am pleased that my brother has received this well, and I wish great blessings for your humble beginnings of this circle, that what is received may reach well beyond these walls into the world, and may you gather many. With all my love and blessings, I thank you.
