Barbara Describes How She Pushed Herself to be God’s Instrument in the World and Asks Us to Consider Our Own Instrumentality

Thank you and blessings to you, dear sister, one who I know well and am close to in guidance and in friendship. I am Barbara. I come today indeed to share some words, hopefully words of wisdom that will help you. I want to talk about the potentials of your soul and I want to use my life as an example of that. Before I started my ministry with the poor, the homeless and the lost souls, I had my own experiences of being poor and being lost. That helped me to have compassion for others. Yet, when I was thrust into the middle of these conditions, so many who were distraught, confused and in great darkness, it was difficult for me to adjust to these conditions. I had my own ideas, biases and approach. Yet, they were inadequate when confronted with these conditions.
So I prayed. I asked God to guide me, to help me, to show me the way. I had great faith in God. I had great faith in the power of love. I had great faith in my angel friends who helped me through very difficult times in my personal life. In my prayers, in my struggles, I learned, I grew and I awakened to my deeper self and deeper gifts within me. As I continued to exercise those gifts, to apply them to my work, I became stronger. I had clearer vision. I could see deep purpose in what I did. In time, the effects of my ministry widened and I touched many souls while I was on Earth, even recognised by governments who sought my advice. There are many aspects to the work that I did that had far-reaching effects, not because of me but because of God, because I opened myself to God’s Will. I allowed myself to be God’s instrument. I let God guide me and I had great faith in what could be accomplished as God’s instruments in the world.
I want to encourage you, my friends, to seek out what it is that God wishes of you, to know that you have gifts and abilities of the soul that you have no idea exist within it. As you grow in the Father’s Love, and as you grow in faith and desire to serve, so the opportunities and the possibilities open. Yes, it may appear difficult, even impossible, for you to step forward in the ways that you may be guided to do so. Yet, if you take that leap of faith, if you allow yourself to go beyond the limitations of your mind and bring forth the depth and breadth of your soul’s awareness, you will find that many things will unfold. Your life will change and the flow of Love, God’s Love, will intensify. From a trickle, it will become a river, a great river of love for all you meet, for all in the world. For this is the demonstration and the power of God’s Love within your soul. As you continue to awaken to these potentials, so the beauty and wonderment of that Love will manifest through you into the world in many ways.
I am not saying that you should be like me. For I am as unique, as are you. Yet, the gifts and potentials within you need expression. Love needs an outlet, a manifestation in the world. As that manifestation grows, so you grow, so your gifts grow, so you strengthen in your capacities and abilities and awaken to much that is within. In the beginning, it was hard. It was challenging. It seemed impossible. Yet, as I grew in this Love of God, as I grew and started to understand that my soul had strengths, its capacities, its blessings and its gifts, then all unfolded in harmony and all unfolded with a power, a strength and a light that helped change many lives, helped comfort many people, helped bring some insights to those who are ignorant and those in power.
So much can happen. Many, many things unanticipated and yet wondrous can happen when you are a child of God, truly in His Love and an instrument of God’s Will. So much can happen, my beloveds. Consider this. Consider my story. Consider your own story and how, as long as you are on Earth, that story continues to unfold and gifts continue to show up and be expressed.
May God bless you deeply with His Love. May you come to truly understand who you are and what you are capable of. God is waiting for you to open that door and allow His Will to flow through you.
