Faith and the Soul 3: Put in the Effort to Know and Have Faith in Your Soul

God bless you, my beloved students. Your teacher, Augustine, is here with you to continue on with our dissertations and guidance in regards to what is coming and what is required of you in the next while, in order to be prepared and to be in alignment with what is needed.
For some of you, it is a great leap between what your present life consists of and what may be required of you in the future as God’s instruments and channels. You see your life in a certain way. It is lived in a certain way, very much attached to the material and very much involved in mundane matters. Yet, you have a soul that is aspiring toward greatness, if you will. That greatness is a reflection of your gifts, abilities, your perceptions and the faculties of your soul. Within each soul, each being upon this world, each being that has ever existed and found their identity upon this world, has a soul that has greatness within it, that great potential to be that beautiful and gifted individual.
As you well know, the barriers to this are great. Very few are invested in a spiritual path, one that brings them close to God. Very few have any inkling or idea of what true spirituality is. Instead, those who believe they are spiritual adhere to doctrines and dogmas of the religious nature that bring one into alignment with the natural love path more readily than that of the Divine Love. There are few within those pathways whose soul has come alive with a measure of Divine Love. In the beginning of your work, these are the individuals whom you must reach out to, if they are open and receptive to that connection. You ask yourself, how will I know, how do I know these individuals? You have been taught and guided regarding faith, regarding understanding your own faculties, intuition and your ability to be guided. This is what you must attune yourself to in my beloveds, that capacity to know, to truly, without any ambiguity, know your guidance, know what you are meant to do and how you are meant to walk in the world as God’s instruments.
This is your great challenge, my beloved friends, students. You know how to pray for the Father’s Love. You have experienced it. You have realised its veracity and its power within you. It is now time to exercise that truth, to explore avenues within you that will allow you to be guided readily. Faith is a great component within that exploration, trusting in that inner being that is you, your soul and what it has to offer to your consciousness in your life. You cannot go to a retreat or a prayer, or have a prayer within your own home and say, “Oh, that chore is done, now I will move on to my material concerns and distractions.”
That may suit you for a while, my beloved students, but it will cause deep conflict within you. For when you elect to be upon the Divine Path, it is not a mental thing. It is not a dedication to a belief. It is a dedication to a way of life, a way of being. Though that way may not be clear and concise in the beginning, that clarity will come and the precision of what is required will come to you. Even as you most frequently entertain your material mind, the precision of understanding of what this path entails will come to your mind. It is already embedded within the mind of your soul. It is our hope that that wisdom, that knowledge, will trickle up into your material consciousness, guiding you and informing you what is in harmony and what is not.
We speak of you as children and indeed, in this regard, in this context, you are, all of you are. You have ideas, you have projections, you have fears, you have thoughts and you have imagination. There are many things going on within your material mind that inform your journey and you act upon this as your guide. You utilise these things to inform your journey. Yet, you know full well that it is not the understanding of the mind and the projections and feelings of the material mind that are valid upon this pathway. Because you encounter the barriers between the consciousness of your daily life and that of your soul consciousness, you fall back to that place so familiar and so mentally attuned to who you are.
We encourage you again and again, seek out your soul, seek out the desires, the functionings, the faculties and the reality of your soul. If it requires much digging and effort to find that place, then so be it. If you know within your heart and your soul that this is the right path for you, then you must put in the effort and the pain that often comes with it. Because as you release those inhibitions, those barriers, then the journey becomes clear and the passageway broad, so that you may traverse between the material mind and the soul mind more readily, easily and at will. This is not accomplished overnight. It comes with great effort, many prayers and much pain in the beginning.
Do not be afraid of that painful component of the journey. For in feeling and knowing this pain and asking God to take it from you and replace it with His Love, then you are accomplishing what is required to grow within the Love. The encrustations of the soul must fall away. This hard material that has been created by a life that reflects the painful conditions of humanity must fall away, be dissolved. What is the solvent of these things? It is the Essence of God, that is what will dissolve and eliminate it forever. Never again will you be burdened by these things when the Divine Love does its work and dissolves these impediments.
As you seek out God, it can be a hazardous and difficult journey. Dealing with the human condition has never been easy. Because of the human condition, very few upon your world have been successful in this way, this journey to the degree that they are purified and well fitted to enter into the spirit world and have a quick progression toward the Celestial Kingdom. Yet persistence, an application of the truth, having faith that God will guide your way, allowing the impediments to fall, recognising and loving, appreciating what God has created, who you are, who you truly are. These things will help you upon the journey.
There is nothing difficult about this in terms of understanding this journey. It is simple, but you often complain and are frustrated by the application of these truths. Yet, God has given you your angel friends to assist you upon that journey. Whether you are aware or not, we are present. When you aspire toward the spiritual and the highest road, that is the Divine Love, we are close. As you continue to open yourself and traverse that avenue that is so vulnerable within you, that often has the memories and the recollections of deep hurt and difficulties, then you come closer to those faculties that will verify and prove to you our existence and the existence of your Creator, the Creator of all. You must be brave and willing, faithful, strong, adamant, consistent and persistent.
These human characteristics are often difficult to sustain in such a harsh world. This is why we advise you to pray and pray often. For it is within that environment, that condition, that you will find a ready access to God, to us and to your soul. It may seem faint and distant to begin with, but it is there nonetheless, calling you, your soul crying out, your mind afraid and putting its barriers in place for self protection. This is an illusion as well, this illusion that you are protected. You are merely finding that comfortable and mediocre place where you are able to live with your pain, your error and your fears.
That place is like a drug that dulls your senses. When you pray and open yourself to your own soul and to God, you are enacting efforts to increase your senses, to feel more and to experience more. The conflict between the mindful desires and habits of a life full of pain and fear contradicts the soul’s desire, the soul’s efforts to reach out to God and to find His rightful place in your consciousness, make for a difficult journey. This is why many refuse you when you offer this truth, for intuitively they know that it confronts the illusions created for themselves. A feeling of fear and judgement, of disbelief and rejection comes to the fore within the mind of that individual, and they turn away.
Yet, you have planted a seed when you speak of these truths, a seed that may reignite a desire sometime in the future. Most often it is when they are in the spirit world. I would encourage you to continue to speak these truths, to share them with others, even though they may reject them or they may not take them seriously. Yet, you have planted that seed and you have done something for yourself, my beloved students, you have affirmed the truth for yourself. You speak those words of truth and you share them and, in an ironic way, you are convincing yourself as you speak.
Humanity is a very complicated creature, full of variations, conditions, biases and judgements, fears, wants and needs, very complicated indeed. This journey toward the soul and toward God, utilising the effects and blessings of Divine Love, declutters and uncomplicates your life. These aspects, these human conditions that you carry, are dissolved by the Love, and your wants and needs become very simple indeed. You see the world through a different lens, a lens that assists you to see truth, but a lens that also reveals to you the extent of the error and perversion of humanity.
The price one pays for this is that you may feel alone and isolated, different. Have you not always felt that way? Those of you who are sensitive and who are seeking truth, that has been the way of your soul, communicating with you its true nature and desires. Yet, often when the individual feels these things, the sense of difference within, they feel inadequate. They judge themselves. They do not love themselves. Yet, these feelings, the sense of self, is your true strength, it is what will lead you to God and what will lead you to your true self.
I urge those of you who continue to judge, reject and feel inadequate to reverse those feelings and turn it into love. Put aside those thoughts and those ideas that have been implanted within you that convince you otherwise. Instead, love yourself truly and be true to yourself with every breath. When you are true to yourself and true to God, you will know the joy that is beyond a joy you may get from acceptance and approval from others, a joy that is very different indeed, much deeper and one that lasts rather than one that is fleeting.
I urge you, my beloved students, to continue on the journey of truth, to truly understand yourself, accept and love that part of you that is true to you. That journey toward God, accepting and loving God, embracing God in love, opening that portal, that channel of love to flow freely, abundantly and beautifully. You will find yourself in a state of bliss. You will look at your journey, one that has made those obstructions, one that has believed those errors, one that is enmeshed within emotional turmoil and rejection, and say, “why have I waited so long to release these things, for I see the falsity of it all. I understand they are not truly a part of me, so I must let them go.”
“Oh God, my Creator, help me. Help me to release the impediments of my soul and the errors of my mind.” This is a prayer you may utter with all sincerity and desire and God will replace the error with truth. The impediments will dissolve, the feelings will turn toward love and joy. What more could you want in a life, my beloved students, what more than this? It is a purpose, a flow, a focus that brings everything good, wholesome and harmonious into your life. It is worth all of your efforts. Indeed, all of your efforts will have its rewards and you, in time, will be freed from the shackles of your mind and the impediments of your soul. This is the goal, the purpose, the meaning of your efforts.
Continue along this path, beloved souls, and little will be held from you. That which does not reach you is the result of your rejection of it, or the impediments that you still carry that do not allow you to know, feel and experience the wonderment of God. Within you, within the core of your being is a light, a beautiful light, a light that continues to be fed by God and His Love. Focus upon that, my beloveds, focus upon that. You will know the joys that I speak of and the wonderment that is there. It is for you to discover. God imbues you with every ability and opportunity to experience these things, so you are God’s children truly. God is nurturing you with all that He can give. We are there as your friends and helpers, your guides, your gatekeepers and your protectors, to ensure that the light gets through. It is for you to do your part in opening to these blessings and being true and adhering to what God has given to you as a gift, a beautiful gift that shall transform you and give you eternal life.
