Faith and the Soul 4: Extricate Yourself from the Limiting Influence of Self-Doubt

God bless you, my friends. I am Michael Collier. Spreading the Truth of this Love, the blessings of God’s Essence, requires many faculties and abilities, so that when you speak, when you move in the world, you attract the attention of those who are seeking truth. The ability to verbalise and express yourself is important. Each of you have this ability and are somewhat gifted in it.
This channel, this medium, is a writer and he writes well. The dear soul to my right (Jeanne) is able to draw in people through her charm, her ability to reach out to others and her empathy. On top of these gifts, there is a requirement that your soul will be bright and light, that love may flow through you, that the power of that love is unimpeded by the mind and that God can use you as a channel of love in the world. So many aspects and elements are required to come together in alignment in order to be that channel of truth, to teach, to heal, to demonstrate and to bring the light.
We ask a lot of you, my friends. A lot must come through you in order that we may fulfil God’s plan, desiring that the world might be changed by love. So it is that we come to faith, that faith that brings you strength, that faith that draws us close and that draws God close to you. Your desire, your soulful desire to be a servant of God, means you must dig deep within yourself rather than skimming the surface of your consciousness with material concerns. Rather, go to that place of soul. For that is the source of all these gifts and abilities. When they are fuelled and ignited by the gifts of the soul, they become refined and beautiful, the rough edges are softened. Those things within you that reflect fear, anxiety and self-doubt, they are erased by the confidence of the soul.
It is important for you to understand the mechanisms, the way in which you may be that instrument that God has asked of you. It will not come with you analysing and constructing a paradigm, an image of who you are meant to be and what God wants of you. These mental constructs are irrelevant on the journey of instrumentality, God’s channels. You must dig deep. You must go to that central core of yourself and bring out the strength, wisdom, light and love that is there. You have heard stories of a mother lifting a vehicle off her child in a crisis, a crash that has made her beautiful infant vulnerable. Yet, she was able to remove that crisis, that obstruction and save her child. What gave her that strength was not the strength of the mind. It was the power of the soul. A soul that, as has been said, can move mountains with faith.
When you look at yourself and you judge yourself as inadequate and unable, I say to you, you are not looking in the right direction, in the right way. For when you have faith in yourself and faith in God’s Will through you, anything can happen and all that is required will manifest. You must have faith. You must put aside the need to mentally verify everything and to be in that place of God’s grace. If you live within that place, if you express yourself in that way and the beautiful light that comes from it, then there is no challenge. There is only the flow, the grace and the ease of your expression as God’s instrument in the world.
You must practise this, my beloved friends. Seek out the soul, first and foremost. You have been told this many, many times. Seek out the faculties and capacities of the soul. Seek out your relationship with God and make it the mainstay of your life. Seek out the blessing of His Love that ignites these faculties and abilities. All of these things are realised through faith, prayer and desire. From this day forward, I would encourage you to look at the world from this perspective of faith, this perspective of what is possible when you are in alignment with God, when you are doing His Will and when the flow of His Will is manifest through you.
Indeed, each of you wants to be a light. Each of you wishes to be a channel for God, an instrument to help your brothers and sisters that they may be elevated and blessed to that point where they understand and experience the true Touch of God, the Holy Spirit upon them. When you approach others from that place of mindfulness and all the impediments that come with it, then the depth and the power of your influence upon that individual is greatly marginalised by this condition of mind. Jesus did not go into the masses from that perspective. He went in guided by God. The power of his soul that had been blessed mightily with the Divine Love was evident and brought evidence of the power of this blessing through him. I am not suggesting that you are like Jesus and you must become that vessel as Jesus was. This is an impractical request. Indeed, as you continue to grow in the Father’s Love, continue to awaken to this reality, that which is deep within you.
Each and every day affords you the opportunity to express what is there. Experiment. Try, ask to be guided. In your faith and the building, constructing and strengthening in faith within you, your efforts will indicate the level and the power of faith and the level and power of the love that resides within your being. You must test this each and every day. For as you honour your own soul and seek for the awakening that comes with this Love poured within it, then you are an expression, an instrument, channel for God. Much of it is expressed in ways that you are not even aware of, but our desire and what is required is that you do this consciously. As you align your mind with your soul mind, then the instrumentality becomes very powerful indeed. The clarity of that expression is multiplied exponentially as you align the two together. The expression becomes clear and direct.
You have been taught how to be God’s instruments. What I speak of today is another lesson in a series of lessons that have been given to you while you have been together and over the years, as you read the transcriptions of messages given to many souls. All the information is there. The way to be that beautiful and clear channel is clearly stated. There is no ambiguity. There is no diffusion of words and concepts that complicate the matter. There is the simple truth to walk with God in faith, to seek to be God’s servant with obedience, listening and desiring the guidance that God will give. Put aside the mindful ambitions, the ego’s desires and be that simple and humble channel for God.
How this eludes so many. How this confuses so many. They cannot take these truths in all its simplicity at face value. The mind must put up its window dressing and complications, interpretations, therefore obscuring the clarity and making your instrumentality a mere shadow of what it can be. The power of the mind is great. This is a plane, an existence, of mind. Humanity is made of this, but you come with a different message and a different way, a way that is required and necessary now. For the conditions of the world dictate that there must be a shift, an adjustment, a new way, a new perspective and a new set of motivations, so that the world may heal from the infliction that man has put upon it. The darkness, error, confusion, fear and lack of love must be replaced with the healing power of love and the truth manifest through each individual.
We implore each of you, each soul who seeks to serve, who knows of this truth, who is practising it in their daily lives, to continue to step forward and realise that which I am speaking of today. Be that clear channel, that clear channel has the alignment, the harmonisation of both the mental acuities and the spiritual acuity, soulful wisdom and love, in alignment, in harmony with the Laws of Love. What is required of you is great, my friends. We do not ask you casually. We do not make such efforts to reach you with the idea that you may toy with what we have given you, that it is a casual commitment, that you may spend a few minutes a day praying to God, receiving the gift of His Love and then go on with your days, segmenting the truth in such a way that it cannot infiltrate all parts of your being and all parts of your life. Rather, you must allow this truth to be infused in everything, in every way, so that you may be that clear channel beyond the mindful conceits, the errors, the filtering and the judgements. Be in that place of purity, innocence, obedience to God’s Will, the desire to be a loving channel in the world.
It is a tall order, I know. Many fail at this. They cannot go beyond their own mindful conceits and they stumble and fall. They cannot confront the pain that they cause themselves by ignoring the true desires of their souls and thinking to amalgamate their mental constructs with the Truth of Divine Love in such a way that they are comfortable and that is reasonable to the mind. You may survive in this world in such a way, bringing a measure of comfort and peace to yourselves. I tell you, when you pass into the world of spirit and come to realise how you have squandered the truth and made it into something that suited your need for comfort, your desire to fit in in the world, those conditions that compromise the truth, rationalise and put into practice in such a way that you have accepted truth but compromise the true purpose within your soul, then you will suffer deep regrets, deep regrets.
I ask you, my friends, how far are you willing to go? How much are you willing to let go of this comfortable compromise of the truth and be fully engaged, be true to that instrumentality, those gifts that God has given you, that wonderful capacity of the soul that is intensely desiring to be manifest through your consciousness, through your being? As has been said to you in countless ways, the choice is yours. You must choose or you will fall back into your comfortable place and ways of life that do not fully honour God. Honour God enough that the needs of your mind are fulfilled and the desires of your soul are recognised to a degree. That way of being is so very common in your world. Many of your brothers and sisters upon the Divine Path walk this road of compromise.
We continue to speak the truth and implore you to walk the road as fully and completely as you can. When you recognise the compromises you make, correct it. Ask yourself the question, “why do I do things in this way? What does this satisfy within me?” Often, the truth will come in a way that you will feel very uncomfortable. You will see how you have allowed the mind to manipulate and create these paradigms and rationalisations in order to satisfy the ego, the base desires and the fears and all that which is within you that is so very human. Yet, we offer you a path that brings you beyond that, beyond that place that only brings half truth to your life. We want you to be fully within the truth, fully realised within the truth, that formidable, powerful, wonderful, beautiful, awesome expression of God’s creation that you are, the many gifts and abilities that lie dormant within you, waiting to be ignited by God’s Love and waiting to be ignited by your actions, your expressions of these gifts and your acknowledgement.
It can only be done by you and your desire and will enact it. We may speak many hundreds, thousands of messages of truth and encouragement and love, hoping that it will take root in your consciousness, but these things lack power if they are ignored and if you compromise your thinking and doing in such a way, if you grab and incorporate the easy truths and do not embrace the difficult ones, the ones that say you must change and adjust, recalibrate, and be healed. Walk in the way of love in such a way that truly, your life is not yours anymore. It is given to God. In that giving to God, you gain the universe, so much more than that stilted and controlled version of your life that you find so precious and hold on to with such intensity and fear of letting go.
When we talk of freedom of the soul, we talk of these things incorporated fully and the Love of God recognised with the ardency of the heart, the desires of the soul, embracing God with such fervour that the Pentecost may be your experience daily. This is the goal you must have within your life and it will change you. Do not be afraid of change, but embrace change. For this change is your friend. It brings you the impetus to truly recalibrate your life in such a way that it honours truth fully, rather than the meagre ways that you do now in your life. I speak to you rather harshly, I know, but this is important information and it is clear and unambiguous in its presentation. You have had a number of these messages now given. I would say, if you string them together like pearls of wisdom, it will be a manifesto for your life, what you may do to live it fully in the way that your soul desires, in the way God desires for you. You will have everything that you need, all that you require. You will make many, many friends, soul friends, that will be a part of this great movement that must be ignited in the world.
The time grows very short indeed. Our messages that once had a soft edge to them now are more direct and more pleading, that you may indeed embrace the Truth in the way that I describe. We are all here for you, as you well know. I encourage you to sensitise yourself to our presence. That is done by sensitising yourself to your soul and what lies within, rather than going to your soul fleetingly in the short period of time in your day, then retreating back to the mind and reinforcing the mind constantly. The power of the mind controls you and you allow it to be so. You must make a concerted effort to be more in your soul. This is where all the answers lie, my friends. This is where the purpose resides and all that you are truly lives. Do you want to live a half life, unknowing your true self, or do you want to live your life fully, integrating everything within you into the fullness of your being? Again, it is your choice.
I will leave you now. I think I have filled you with enough and spoken seriously. I do not want you to feel guilty, shameful or inadequate, any of these human terms. This would be an insult to who you are. Rather, listen with the soul and act with soul wisdom, for there is joy, joy at who you are, joy in what you can be, my friends. Joy must be a part of this journey, the joy of being with God, the joy of truly knowing your true self, the joy of knowing us, the joy of the true meaning of life, clear and unambiguous in your consciousness. There is much joy there. I encourage you once more to joyfully engage with life, true life, your true self.
I am Michael Collier and my love is with you, with you all. I see the yearnings within you, the soul, truly wanting to be awakened and alive as it should be. Listen to that and truly be that, then you will not get these small lectures and encouragements. Rather, we will join you in the joy and wonderment of it, and you will know it for what it is.
