The Heartfelt Path of Prayer

God bless you, my friends. May the blessing of the Father’s Love enter into your souls abundantly and powerfully. Open your souls to this blessing, my beloved friends. I am Bartholomew. I come to encourage you in prayer. I come to speak of prayer, for it is the one thing that you do each and every time you come together. I wish to say that it is important that your prayers are of the heart, for the heart is closer to the soul than the mind. When the soul and the heart are in alignment, then a prayer is sincere and, as you would say, heartfelt.
The words that come in that prayer are not necessarily concocted and designed to make something lyrical or beautiful. It could be any number of words, but what is important are the feelings, to feel truly in alignment with God, to feel your love for God, to be open to God’s Love for you and to be in the grace of God. That grace is elicited by your sincere prayer. That prayer may not be of words at all, but merely feeling. What is not required and not encouraged is something rote, something repeated over and over again, something that comes from the material mind. In that is the satisfaction that you have said the proper words, that you have put together a prayer that is not of the heart but of the mind. This, I discourage you from, my beloved friends, for being with God is not about mind, per se, though the mind may be involved and often an observer. It is the soul seeking out its Creator. It is the soul expressing its desires and feelings. It is the soul perceiving and knowing the Presence of God. This is often called the grace of God. For it is in that grace, that feeling of Love that pours forth upon you, that is what is most desirable and most effective.
Often, because you live upon the earthly plane, being in that form of alignment, that condition of receptivity, that expression of a soul desire, is difficult to recognise, sustain and nurture. Yet, this is why you come time and time again, my friends, to practise this prayer, this desire and this expression. As you continue to apply this truth to your prayer life and to your daily life, then God’s Presence becomes more real, more palpable and more powerful. Indeed, the soul becomes gratified, joyful, nourished by the Heavenly Father, this great Oversoul filled with Love, Love in such abundance that it cannot be fully perceived or understood.
My beautiful friends, you come together in prayer. When someone prays for you, add your prayers with them. Feel along with them the sincerity of what they say. Do not go to a different place of mind that is not attentive or in alignment with the desire of your group, your collection of souls, praying together, for with this unity of prayer, a singleness of desire and purpose, then it is powerful in its results. Not only do you benefit, but those around you benefit, your loved ones benefit, your families, your friends, those in your area, your neighbourhood, where you bring light. The more attuned you are with God, the greater light that comes.
It is a process, it is an effort and it is a dedication. Each of you knows within your soul all that I speak of and understand why I speak these words. For it is important not only to be in alignment and attunement with God, but to grow in this form of communication with the Divine. When you are all together in harmony and you seek for the same things, then it creates a powerful portal, a window for God to express and bless you all. Ask for things specifically, when it comes to spiritual growth and awakening, when it comes to the desire to serve God and serve humanity.
For when you are in alignment with God and you speak in these terms, in this way, then you make more real what may happen, the potentials of your daily life. When you ask God to bless you in a certain way or use you in a certain way, then these things can be manifest because the clarity of your soul, the desires of your heart, are set forth on the wings of prayer. The blessings that come as a result can be powerful, can be life-changing, not only for you, but for others whom you pray for. When you utilise the Laws of Prayer, then you are engaging a very powerful tool for change, for awakening, for blessings, for peace, for harmony, for light and love.
My beautiful friends, take to heart what your souls have to say to God. Allow that expression to be clear and direct. Allow yourself to be truly within that connection, that communion with God. Do not let your mind draw you away from that experience, but be focused, be true to it and all the blessings that come will be yours and yours in a conscious way. This, my friends, is why you pray and why you are together, so that the truth and beauty, wonderment and blessings of God, His Love, will come to you and stay with you, change you, awaken you and transform you.
May you be blessed in the ways in which you pray, in the truth that you express to God and the truth that you live in your life. We in the Celestial Kingdom are with you, my friends. We walk with you, we pray with you, we encourage you upon this path and we love you, each of you. Beautiful souls, may you carry on in the ways and means that open the floodgates of God’s blessings to you and to the world. God bless you. I am Bartholomew and my love is with you all. God bless you.
