The Winged Joy

May 18th, 2026

Online Circle of Light, Nashville, TN, USA

Yogananda received by Jimbeau Walsh

My friends, it is I, your brother, Yogananda. I come with joy in my soul to join you all in this sacred space for the inflowing of the Creator’s love. Let us savor the moment, this moment that is blessed in light, as we open up our hearts and our souls to the Father’s love.

In earthly life, people not only delight in savoring a moment but often wish to capture a moment, and so, this is done in photographs and recordings, and in books, but in truth, you cannot capture that which is simply fluid and ever-changing. And so, I encourage those who are, in a sense, captured by those moments on earth that brought them joy, the times where they felt so loved, accepted, appreciated, even if it be for a fleeting moment, to move on. When I lived on earth, my lifelong work brought forth many moments of joy, but I attached my soul to the endless love flowing from God. I was a great admirer of the poet, William Blake, and I often quoted him in my talks, sometimes in my writings, and I shall try to express this through my brother in a poem that I think is appropriate to my message. He who binds himself to a joy, doth the winged life destroy, but he who kisses the joy as it flies, lives in eternity’s sunrise. The words of Blake inspired my soul, allowing me to carry on through circumstances that were often quite challenging, as you must carry on. And as you find yourself clinging to those moments, to those people, to those places, that bring you a sentimental sense of joy, of love, I ask you not to be bound to them, for you do not wish to bind those places or people or yourselves to a moment, but in receiving the great love of God to open to eternity and the progression of your soul.

The symbiosis present between the bee and the flower brings the substance of honey, and so the symbiosis between your soul and your prayers for the love of God brings transformation, joy, and endless love.

Lastly, I wish to add that you need not dot all your i’s and cross all your t’s, but always leave room for guidance, for the blessing of God and the angels to make those changes that you seek, to open doors that may be closed, to open boxes that you have put all your hopes in. This allowing is faith, and it is beyond trust in the knowing of your soul that God brings every good and perfect gift to those who pray.

I thank you for this time, and I shall step back in this holy circle, in the love of God, to be with you. With all my love, I am your brother in Christ. I am Yogananda. Go in peace.
