All Things Given in Love are Blessed

Alexander the Pope received by Jimbeau Walsh

Greetings, brothers, and sisters. I am your friend from the celestial kingdom. I am Alexander Pope, the poet.

Brother Judas has encouraged me to step forward to speak this evening on a subject dear to my heart. On earth, I suffered from many ailments. I was somewhat, as they say, deformed, with a hunchback. I was also reviled at times for my religious beliefs, and so, I had a lot on my plate to process in my soul. I prayed deeply, I wrote from the depths of my soul, and I came to realize even on earth and as I wrote, “to err is human, to forgive is divine.”

When you consider those who wish to do you harm or even your perception of them harming others, the love in your heart cries out. I found that revenge serves no purpose, and physically, I could not inflict it on even the weakest human being. My prayers led me to a place where I did not wish to do so. I had the company of many great writers and poets to lift my spirits, and during my writings, I felt the presence of angels. This helped me a great deal, and you know, or as you may know, when you help another, it lifts you up. And so, I say to those in this group who may suffer from depression, feelings of unworthiness, etcetera, that when you are in this state, if you cannot bring yourself into a deep prayer, at least you can help someone, for there is always someone in need, and kindness opens the heart of the receiver and even more so, of the giver. In this regard, there are those here who have helped the homeless and the hungry and the displaced, and on behalf of all here, we wish to honor you and thank you. For those who have nurtured children, both spiritually and just simply with human love and guidance, this is a great gift you give.

Remember the words of our Master who said whatsoever you do for the least of my brethren, you do for me. Beyond that, know that whatever your affliction is, whatever your moment of despair or doubt, if you give to another from the heart, you will be healed. For love is the great glue that binds together a broken heart, a broken life. Your love brings that mending every time you reach out to one in need.

The love of God, of course, has no ebb and flow, and to love another with Divine Love is a gift beyond measure. So, coming from one who suffered, as I said, many afflictions, many wounds, many hurts, slings, and arrows, I now find myself in the celestial kingdom, this you can do. This giving in the love of God is the greatest gift. But all things that are given in love are blessed, whether in the human or the divine.

I am so grateful for this opportunity to speak through my brother, and I thank all here for lending me an ear. I shall step back in your beautiful circle and be in prayer with you in God’s love. I am your brother and friend, in Christ.

I am Alexander Pope. God bless you.
