Spiritual Joy is obtained in Grace

It is I, your brother and friend, Judas. I know these are trying times for so many souls. So many earth changes, so much disruption, so much uncertainty creating fear and concern, and you are being asked to rise above the darkness, the turbulence and all those concerns that so trouble humanity. Yet here you are living on earth and affected by events and there are those who are feel they are stuck in a loop. Yes, even those on the spiritual path of Divine Love. Feeling blessed at times and at others as if they are in a circle of stagnation and wondering how do I progress from this state? So, I wish to share my thoughts on this for you.
The human condition is often bound in ritual behavior and for many, comfort food, which can be many things, it can be a family celebration, a redundant meeting with friends, or merely some form of distraction that even though it provides a moment of happiness, because it is not of the essence of true happiness, it can lead one to depression and despair. An example I might give is, sometimes after a holiday celebration, one feels lonely and removed from love and joy, like coming down from a high. But I wish to point out the difference between spiritual joy and happiness and laughter and the human condition. For, spiritual joy is obtained in grace, in the love of God, and it transcends the highs and lows of human emotion. It rests on faith and hope and freedom, and it is a blessing that one is sustained by. Whereas typical laughter often masks tragedy or simply a mockery of the absurd, bringing a moment’s laughter and yet leaving one empty afterwards.
So, if you examine your behaviors, which are rituals that do not transcend the human condition, you will begin to consider participating less in those rituals, those circumstances which do not truly bring you joy and keep you, in a sense, locked into your condition. Allow your prayers to go deep. Give your pain and your worry, your anxiety, your fear, your unforgiveness, your judgement, give it all to God, and ask for the great gift of love in return. The love that fills your soul and induces change, real change, not a moment’s bliss, but the very substance of soul transformation and progression. This is the joy of blessing, of grace. This is the joy that touches every soul that you find yourself meeting in every circumstance, truly lighting up a room and as the message was read about raging against the darkness, I would say lighting a candle and bringing the light of the love of God in a world of darkness. This difference in true joy is entirely discernable by the soul and by the heart engaged with God, the at-onement of your prayer with your Creator. So, as you let go, you will not lose your compassion or your empathy for the world, but you will also not be dragged down by its shortcomings and as the song says, be the light, be the love. May the peace and joy and bliss of the love of God be with you, fill you, transform you.
