May the peace of God’s love be upon you all in these times of change, great disruption, and upheaval as the balance of power slowly begins its shift from the greedy to the needy.
In the message that was read from dear brother Yogananda, he addressed the many distractions that overwhelm so many on earth, and I should like to offer some advice. Many things that bring calm and solace, however temporary, are helpful in the short run. But each day, one is confronted with a world seemingly headed off a cliff, so many earth changes taking place. These things force one to respond, and the response must be love. If you wish to love your enemies and those who would harm you, pray for them. As it is often said, hate the sin but not the sinner. It is a worthwhile consideration to offer your prayers to those who seemingly would reject them, dismiss them.
You who have witnessed many a miracle by directing your love, your light, in prayer for the sake of others can surely realize the reverberations of sending up a prayer to a nefarious soul, or shall I say, for a nefarious soul, someone so hurt and wounded that they only seem to respond in a negative manner towards the world, assuming some kind of power would bring them fulfillment or happiness. But all of you know this is not true, for every soul seeks to be loved. Therefore, when you send your love, you send a vibration that lifts the world. You may feel that you are powerless against great forces, and yet consider David and Goliath. Consider the trumpets at Jericho.
While I do not suggest you remove yourself from engagement with the world and speaking truth to injustice and power, I encourage you to love those souls, to pray for them. You surely can see what a difference it has made with your own soul, and your soul knows that when you align its longings in the love of God, the heavens open. It is not difficult to just take a moment to stop your mindful considerations, your worries, your fears, and go to God, as you do, and go to God for those who don’t go to God. For they too need a blessing. Be still, my brothers and sisters. Open to the great love of our Creator and bring this gift to the world. I am your brother and friend.
